SMASH
BURGER

Role - Project Manager (training)

Throughout this UX Google training project I carried out an entire UX project.

I carried out competitor audits, investigations, journey maps, interviews, goal statements, Figma sketches, prototypes, among many other tasks that allowed me to understand what was necessary for a UX project.

Challenge

Find a way for users of the Smash Burger company to order food quickly, easily and have a good experience.

Solution

Develop an APP that focuses on the user experience and allows the company to offer a quality service in which users are able to order quickly and easily.

Research

During this first stage of the project, I focus on conducting competitive audits, personas, journey maps, design storyboard, among others. All this with the aim of understanding much better what the user really needs to have a pleasant experience.

Research Steps

Wireframes

During this stage I began to make the wireframes by hand and in Figma  to have an idea of what the web page would be like.

I started taking into account the most basic and essential aspects for the proper functioning of the app to later create a low-fidelity prototype and carry out a UX Research Study Plan.

Once I defined a general idea on paper, I started working on the wireframes in Figma.

In a first stage, I created several pages of the process taking into account the storyboard. I also took into consideration the competition audit to use some key parts that should be in the design.

Study Details

At this stage I tested a low-fidelity prototype with a diverse group of people.

I worked with the Unmoderated usability study methodology where users had to be asked to order food on a low-fidelity prototype.

In this study, I was able to detect certain necessary improvements in the APP in order to achieve a better user experience. In particular in the customization and home delivery options.

High Fidelity Prototypes

For higher fidelity prototypes, the first thing I did was the visual part. I started with the images, fonts and colors that were in the company's brandbook. Once I had the initial idea, I started with the connections between pages and the main functions.
